The Jemima Layzell Trust met 65 pupils from year 10 and 11, and told them Jemima’s story; about The Draft, her brain injury and her organ donation legacy. Most of the conversation centered around the forthcoming Opt Out law and the importance of talking to our families.

We have given the pupils lots to talk about…they are big emotive subjects for them to take in, especially first thing on a Monday morning!

We hope they all spread the word. Be Life and Be Love.

Huge thanks to Laura Chapman for organising our visit.

Pictured are Catharine Morgan, Georgie a pupil from Holyrood and Cathy and Chris Stuckey who came to Holyrood School on Monday 8th July to share their stories about organ transplants.
