'"The PPod has arrived!! She's so comfy in it, thank you so much!!” Jo (C’s mum)

C had outgrown her PPod, which is like a specialist beanbag on wheels, designed to give her postural support, and also somewhere she can comfortably and safely chill out. The family were desperate for a custom new one because C has a slight curve in her spine and she naturally twists forward on one side, she also needs moulded seating to correct her posture.

"We use it all over the house and the garden, so she is always included in whatever we are doing.” Jo (C’s mum)

The Trust are delighted to be able to help, especially as C is a child we have helped for a few years now. She was referred to us by The Child Brain Injury Trust as she had suffered two tumours and two major strokes before she was two. When we first met her she was in the middle of debilitating chemo at Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Over the years we are proud to have made C and her family's life a little bit easier, with toys to encourage mobility, a specialist car seat and now this. Thank you to everyone who supports our Trust, your contributions make a very real difference to children with brain injury.
