How The Trust Helped TW

At the Jemima Layzell Trust we endeavour to continue assisting, where we can, as children progress with their recovery. You can see both Harry and Chloe’s stories on our ‘Case Studies’ page.

We have also been supporting others who don’t wish for their names to be used and TW is one of those.

In Dec 2016 TW suffered a traumatic brain injury and was in BCH for 6 months. Since then we have supported TW as she has grown. First with a wheelchair, then with an iPad as she returned to school and now a running and walking frame. The items requested show how TW is improving with her motor skills.

We have no pictures yet as the equipment hasn’t arrived yet, but we cannot wait to hear how TW gets on. The video clips we were sent of TW trying out borrowed walking and running frames was incredibly heart warming.
