Grania and Sophy greatly enjoyed speaking to Tatworth WI on Thursday 24th March. The WI were very receptive and member Sheila had booked us because she herself is absolutely passionate about organ donation. Quite a few of the WI have carried cards since receiving them years ago and were pleased to hear our story. For others it was a both challenging and interesting evening, organ donation it was agreed, is such a taboo and difficult subject.

We are pleased that our visit now can help precipitate conversations between families in Tatworth and that the conversation keeps spreading.

Thank you so much to Tatworth WI for inviting us and being the very first face to face event for the Trust this year. Donations raised came to £118.40, many thanks to the everyone’s generosity.
